JEE Main and JEE Advanced

JEE or the Joint Entrance Examination is an online test conducted by the NTA for engineering aspirants willing to join in IIT and other top engineering institutes. The Joint entrance examination is conducted in two stages- JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE main is the first phase of the IIT Joint Entrance Examination. Students will be granted admission to NITs, CFITs, and other government institutes based on JEE Main score. Students with good scores in JEE Main will also be qualified to appear for JEE Advanced. 

The syllabus for JEE Main and JEE Advanced is declared by the examination authority. It is based on class 11 and class 12 syllabus. The JEE Main and JEE Advanced mainly include objective-type questions. The pattern of the JEE Main question paper was slightly different in 2021. The negative marking was removed for a few questions. The examination is held in 2 shifts. The questions in JEE are designed to test the analytical, reasoning, and comprehensive ability of students. 

There is no age limit to appear for JEE, however, the candidates must satisfy the age limit to take admission in various institutes. The candidates appearing for JEE must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent. 

The application for the examination will be available online on the official website.  After registration and submitting the application form the candidates will receive the admit card. The candidates will have the option to download the application form. The payment for the application form can also be done online. The option to rectify the mistakes done in specific fields in the application form is provided by NTA. 

JEE Advanced Previous Year Papers

Preparation for JEE Main and JEE Advanced is of great importance for the students wanting to join IIT. Solving JEE Advanced Previous Year Papers can help the aspirants to score well in the examination.
